Individual Therapy
Client and therapist work as a team to identify the client’s current strengths, and develop a treatment plan drawing on those strengths to move from the current problem to wellness.
Through this process, discouraged clients will find hope to work through presenting problems with support and encouragement from the therapist.
Couples Therapy
With guidance from the therapist, couples have an opportunity to assess current stress and conflict in their relationship, and move into goal development focused on building a relationship that enriches the lives of each partner. Typical treatment goals include the enhancement of communication between partners, resolving immediate conflict, and intimacy enhancement.
Family Therapy
Families are the glue that binds society. Every family is at one time or another faced with a crisis, loss, or specific problems that make family life difficult and stressful. In Family therapy, the members of the family, with the help of the therapist, identify resources and strengths the family already has going for them, and find the courage to move from this period of challenge, or despair, to one of renewed hope in family life.
